DUTY ROSTER
Little Athletics cannot run without the help of parents. Every week, our club is required to supply volunteers to help run events at Landy Field.
Volunteering is not optional – it’s part of being in the club. Families must volunteer at least 2–3 times during the season as required by both OGBHLAC and GLAC policy.
OGBHLAC VOLUNTEER ROLES
Each week, our club is responsible for providing around 8 volunteers, including:
2 High Jump Chiefs
2–3 High Jump Assistants
1 Back Straight Marshall
1 Walks Judge (every third week)
1 Data Entry volunteer
TRAINING & SUPPORT
Families will be allocated to roles at the start of the year.
Experienced volunteers will cover the first three weeks, giving new parents time to shadow, learn and build confidence.
Don’t worry if you’re new – training is provided by OGBHLAC and GLAC.
KEY POINTS FOR FAMILIES
Families are required to volunteer 2–3 times each season.
Report to the Roster Coordinator (Jeremy Gilmour) before 8:15am on competition mornings.
Rosters will be posted in advance on our Facebook page and displayed on the Volunteer Roster Whiteboard at Landy Field.
If you cannot make your allocated duty, it is your responsibility to swap with another family or notify the Roster Coordinator.
